Venison organs can be an excellent addition to a raw diet for both dogs and cats. They’re naturally nutrient-dense and provide vitamins, minerals and amino acids that muscle meat alone doesn’t supply in the same concentrations.
Health benefits of venison organs for dogs & cats
Naturally nutrient dense — organs deliver concentrated nutrition in relatively small amounts.
Rich in vitamin A — particularly liver, supporting vision, immune function, skin and normal cell development.
Excellent source of B vitamins — including B12, riboflavin and folate, important for energy metabolism, neurological function and red blood cell production.
Highly bioavailable iron — supports haemoglobin production and normal oxygen transport.
Copper, zinc and selenium — important trace minerals involved in immunity, antioxidant defence, skin and coat health, and numerous enzyme systems.
Quality animal protein — provides essential amino acids required for muscle maintenance and tissue repair.
Especially valuable for cats — cats are obligate carnivores and have particularly high requirements for animal-derived nutrients. Heart and other muscular organs can also contribute taurine, although taurine levels vary and shouldn't be assumed to make a diet complete.
Useful for rotational feeding — venison provides another animal species for people wanting greater dietary variety.
Nutrient-Dense – Packed with iron, zinc, copper, and essential vitamins A, D & B-complex.
Lean & Low Allergen – Ideal for pets with sensitivities or on elimination diets.
Vital Organ Support – Promotes heart, liver, and immune health.
Energy & Metabolism – B vitamins support stamina, growth, and cellular repair.
Great addition to the lean venison mince that I feed my older girls...they scarf it down so quickly I've switched to feeding by hand so at least I see thatbtheynenjoy it!
Add Primal Venison Organ Mix to Primal Venison meat and throw some Salmon Belly strips on top! I add some steamed vegies, Omega 3, pre/probiotics and a pre-mix containing turmeric. A BIG winner with my dogs. They love it & can barely wait for their bowls to be on the ground.
Our difference is the exotic product range and selection and our ability to fully customise a diet for any dog or cat life stage.
No you do not need to add anything to the meals.
Yes cats need raw meaty bones ( smaller) as part of a complete natural diet.
Store raw meat in the freezer until ready to use. To thaw safely, place it in the fridge for 12–24 hours before feeding. For faster thawing, you can submerge the sealed pack in cold water. Never thaw at room temperature, and always wash hands and utensils after handling.
